The Buffalo Rose reportedly has the best patio in Colorado and we have half of it reserved. We need a head count as we must RSVP for this. This is a cash bar. Please join us on Friday even if you aren’t able to make the other activities.
(The Golden High School Class of 1970 is also meeting Friday night across the street at Old Capitol Grill, 1122 Washington Avenue)
- SATURDAY, August 14, 2010
During the day:
“Mini Reunions” and get-togethers: We encourage people to get together in groups on their own Saturday morning and afternoon: Band, Traho-Ins, Math Club, Football, Theatre, Speech, Latin, Limit, Spanish, Russian, whatever, etc. We will add these to the mini reunion page if you send us details (email@example.com) or leave a comment (group name, place and time) and a point of contact (email and cell number would be good).
Some people have mentioned an interest in visiting the Colorado Railroad Museum, Coors Brewery Tours, Lariat Loop, Red Rocks (RUSH will be there on Monday, August 16), Central City. A good page with numerous links is available from Historic Jeffco.
We’ll start with a “meet and greet” the first hour or so (with appetizers), followed by a dinner buffet, music, dancing, and casino night with Blackjack, Roulette and Craps.
There is a great outdoor deck overlooking Denver, the perfect spot to catch up with classmates and old friends.
There will be a cash bar. (The reunion fee includes admission and dinner.)
Please make your check payable to “WRHS1970” and mail with a printout of your RSVP by July 23, 2010, to: WRHS1970, 7 Bark Cherry, Littleton, CO 80127. Your payment must be postmarked by July 23rd as the Committee must make payment to Crystal Rose by July 30.
Please note that the “gaming” at Crystal Rose is not for money, but for prizes (although chips will be used). (You’ll need to head to Central City or Cripple Creek for gaming with money.) If you or your spouse is interested in serving as a “dealer” please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
We encourage you to use the I-70 route to get to Crystal Rose.
